Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
The meek person’s principle include:
1. No rage or anchor
2. No rashness or recklessness
3. No rudeness or resentment
4. No revolt or rebellion
5. No revenge or retaliation
6. No rioting or rampaging
7. No rivalry or rat-race running
In genuine meekness there is a connection between:
1. Meekness and truth (Psalm 45:4)
2. Meekness and righteousness (Zephaniah 2:3)
3. Meekness and love (1 Corinthians 4:21)
4. Meekness and gentleness (2 Corinthians 10:1)
5. Meekness and lowliness (Matthew 11:28)
6. Meekness and humility (Colossians 3:12)
7. Meekness and a quiet spirit (1 Peter 3:4)
Biblical characters who demonstrated the virtue of meekness:
1. Abraham (Genesis 13:5-12)
2. Moses (Numbers 12:1-16)
3. Gideon (Judges 8:1-3)
4. Hannah (1 Samuel 1:13)

The benefits of meekness:
1. Earthly inheritance (Psalm 37:11)
2. An edifying, enjoying inheritance (Psalm 37:11)
3. Expected inheritance (Jeremiah 29:11)
4. Enduring life-long inheritance (1 Peter 3:4,9,10)
5. Exceptional inheritance (Acts 20:32;26:18)6
6. Everything on Earth and in Heaven (Revelation 21:7; 1 Peter 1:3)
7. Eternal inheritance (Psalm 37:18)
How to be meek and demonstrate it in our daily lives:
1. Seek meekness
2. Show meekness in temper
3. Set meekness as standard of living
4. Submit in meekness
5. Serve in meekness
6. Sow meekness as seed
7. Share meekness with the Savior. In order words follow the example of Jesus’ meekness (Matthew 11:29)
